1st International Congress
of Flatlands Hydrology
The Flatlands Hydrology Institute “Dr. Eduardo Jorge Usunoff”, supported by the Central Buenos Aires Province University, the Buenos Aires Province Scientific Research Comission and the Azul's County Municipality, in ocassion of its 25th anniversary, invites you to the 1st International Congress of Flatlands Hydrology. The Congress will be held in Azul (Buenos Aires province, Argentina) from September 21 - 24, 2010. The theme of the Congress is “Toward a complete management of water resources in flatlands”. This Congress attempts to continue with the development of the main ideas proposed in the Olavarría's Colloqium about Big Flatlands Hydrology (1983) and the International Workshop on Big Flatlands Hydrology (1989).
The main aim of the Congress is to contribute to the development of the knowledge on the flatlands hydrology, creating opportunities for exchange, dialogue, discussion and outreach of the research done by specialists covering the many facets of this discipline.
